Our planning policy guidelines provide the basis of our campaign and are used to help us and others respond to new developments and planning applications inside or near to the National Park. These policies align with our campaigns for the conservation and enhancement of the landscape of the South Downs National Park and are aimed at minimising the impact of new developments on the landscape and in the villages and towns across the Park. From time to time we will update and or add to these policies as circumstances and pressures on the countryside change.
