About Us
Friends of the South Downs is an independent charity founded in 1923 and the only membership organisation dedicated to conserving and enhancing the beauty and amenities of the South Downs.
Our staff base consists of three, part-time members of staff who provide essential office administration support and member services, alongside a team of committed volunteers.
In addition, we have a Board of Trustees who are appointed for an initial three-year term, after which they may be re-elected or stand down.
